Born in Lisbon in the 70's and now settled in Dublin since 2012, Mario Domingos is a seasoned digital artist with a career spanning over two decades. His journey began at the young age of twelve when he started experimenting with emerging 3D software. This self-guided exploration marked the onset of his fascination with the intersection of technology and art, leading him to pursue a formal education at ETIC, where he specialized in 3D modelling and animation.

Over the years, Mario Domingos has cultivated a unique body of work, fondly termed 'Pixel Pigment on Digital Canvas.' This style, deeply rooted in abstract and experimental creativity, challenges the conventions of the digital medium. His art navigates through the distortion of reality, the biases we hold, and the contortions of our information-saturated world. Despite its abstract nature, his work draws inspiration from modern art and artists like Marvin Lipofsky and Ana Vasconcelos, and finds significant influence in sculpture and music.

Mario Domingos's art doesn't confine itself within the parameters of a specific style or movement. Instead, it thrives on experimentalism, forming the cornerstone of his artistic expression. He firmly believes that through relentless exploration and experimentation, he can stir new emotions and transport viewers into uncharted territories of imagination.

Today, Mario Domingos's portfolio boasts projects for industry titans such as Apple, Adobe, Google, and IBM. His work has garnered attention on Maxon's website, Adobe products, and in La Nueva Carne magazine. He perceives himself as part of a new art renaissance, a movement aimed at redefining the boundaries of digital art. Through his creations, he aspires to demonstrate the limitless potential of this medium and inspire others to delve into its endless possibilities.

Mario Domingos extends an invitation for you to follow his journey on social media, where he shares updates on his latest projects, exhibitions, and artistic developments. Committed to producing art that is not just visually captivating but also intellectually stimulating, he continually pushes the envelope of what is conceivable in the digital realm.
